Somebody is going to have to remind me of synonyms for the word “excited”. Until that happens, I’m gonna keep saying that I’m super exited that we’ve started Cyber Sherpas.

Being a Team Lead and mentoring people to help them get into or get better in their career in cybersecurity is by far the most rewarding work I’ve ever done. Now I hope that Cyber Sherpas will bring lots more opportunities to do that.

Right now, I’m psyched (hey, a synonym) that we have our first live meeting one week from today. Here’s the Save the Date details:

This will be a very quick intro to Cyber Sherpas (how can we help), and then all about your questions and thoughts. Bring all your questions on any aspect of getting into cybersecurity, getting better in your cyber job role; share your thoughts on the job market (if you’re looking for that first job or a new gig), how your job is going if you’re already in cyber, or anything else that’s top of mind.

I hope some of you can find time to make it next Saturday. And tell any of your friends or acquaintances who might be looking at cybersecurity :)
